We are very proud to announce that in the year 2010, the combined efforts of E.K.A.R. rescued over 700 homeless animals and helped transport in excess of 1,200 to safety. Most of these animals came from high kill shelters, were abandoned, removed from abusive/neglectful homes or were found as strays. We hope to be able to save even more this year and will work hard to make a difference here in Eastern Ky.
We could not provide the care we do without the support and loyalty of all the wonderful animal loving people who have blessed us with their help over the 2010 year. We want to extend our special thanks to everyone who has donated, transported, fostered, and volunteered their time with us. We appreciate each and everyone of you! We hope to continue to have the help and support of everyone in the upcoming 2011 year!
